Family Christmas Adventure with outdoor challenges

The Christmas Adventure event for families will begin near the Vooremäe Health Centre, with the starting point marked by a flag displaying the event logo. It is scheduled to begin between 11 am and 12 noon, with participants having up to two hours to complete the route, which spans approximately 2.5 to 3 km and ends where it begins

During the hike, participants will navigate between activity stops, where they will encounter a range of challenges designed to stimulate the senses and encourage interaction. These challenges involve tasks that will rely on touch, smell, sight, hearing, and movement. Each stop will have helpers or instructions provided in both Estonian and English.

The event is open to all, but solo participation is only recommended for those with map-reading skills. Participants will be provided with maps to help them navigate the route. While there is no competition or ranking, the focus is on providing families with a memorable experience, allowing them to spend quality time together in nature. At the finish line, hikers will be treated to mulled wine and gingerbread, with an opportunity to take a keepsake photo.

All participants will be entered into a Christmas lottery with the chance to win various holiday gifts. The participation fee is 5 euros for adults and 2 euros for children, with free entry for children up to six years old.

More information about the event is available on the official Tartu webpage.
