Tallinn trams return to normal service

All five of Tallinn’s tram routes have returned to a full and normal service after summer roadworks in the city centre and at the port led to the cancellation of some routes and the shortening, redirecting and rescheduling of others.

Locals and travellers can breathe a sigh of relief as all five of Tallinn’s tram lines are now fully operational, making it significantly easier to travel between different parts of Tallinn.

In recent years, central Tallinn has undergone extensive roadworks, including the construction of a new tram line that will connect the port to the city centre. However, it is reassuring to note that from the beginning of next year, the new tram line in front of the A terminal will offer quick and easy access to all the parts of Tallinn served by the the Tallinn tram routes.

Timetables and stops for all tram lines can be found in English here.
