Road works in front of the passenger terminals of the port of Tallinn and in the downtown will continue throughout this summer. As a result, tram lines 2 and 5 will not run at all until August 18. However, trams 1, 3 and 4 will continue to operate. The closest stop to the port terminals is (Linnahall) on tram line 1, which only goes towards Kopli.
Throughout the summer, tram line 3 in the Kadriorg direction can be caught at the Freedom Square, Viru and Hobujaama stops. You can find more information about the changes in the tram timetables here.
From the port to the city centre and airport by bus
You can get to the centre by bus lines 20 and 20A, which stop on the D-terminal side. At the moment, bus line number 2 runs between the Port of Tallinn and Tallinn Airport, which departs from A-Terminal. The route of line 2 also goes via the Balti Jaam railway station and the city centre. Tallinn’s two passenger terminals are connected by a drawbridge intended for pedestrians and cyclists.
