Tartu’s old town will be transformed into a vibrant spring market this Saturday, May 11. At the spring fair, you will find among other things furniture, ceramics and toys from Estonia’s best craftsmen and women, as well as plants and spring garden products. There will also be an entertainment programme for the whole family and delicious food on offer.
Taking place in the city’s Old Town Square, Küüni street, Open Air Market, Kaubahoovi Park, and along the Emajõe River, the popular annual Spring Fair brings the city back to life after its winter slumber.
At the extensive fair, you will find almost any kind of product you can imagine, from ceramics and toys from master craftsman, to spring-specific items like plants.
There will be a lot of fresh and hot food on offer too, to prevent you from getting hungry as you enjoy the many stalls. There will also be a full entertainment programme throughout the day including live music and dance, which has been prepared to entertain the whole family.
