Lotte Theme Park Open for Summer

In the year 2000, a new cultural icon appeared on television screens across Estonia. Her name is Lotte, and she is a dog of many talents. Her first appearance, “Lotte’s Journey South”, gained instant recognition as an event that would define a whole generation of Estonian children.

The first film in the franchise, “Lotte From Gadgetville” from 2006, further cemented the young girl dog in Estonians’ collective imagination. The soundtrack also won several awards. “Lotte and the Moonstone Secret” from 2011, and more recently 2019’s “Lotte and the Lost Dragons” have crowned Lotte as the dog with the largest film franchise in the European Union.

It is only fitting that she has her own theme park, just outside of Pärnu. Lotte Village has officially opened its doors for the summer season, and promises visitors a full day of fun, games, activities, sites, and of course, meetings with the popular characters from the movies.

Most of the buildings from the original film are located at Lotte Village, including Lotte’s House, the Tower of the Discovery of the Internet, the Watermill, and so much more. There are several cafés, a restaurant, and more for eating and getting ice cream. If the weather is too warm, you can even cool off at Lotte’s Beach.

You don’t have to have seen the movies to enjoy the magic of Lotte Village. All you need to do is show up, and be ready for a fun-filled day with the family. Children and adults of all ages are welcome. More information about Lotte Village is available here.
