This Saturday, May 18, the streets of Tallinn will come alive as thousands of women will run as part of the popular LHV May Run. This is the largest event in Estonia dedicated to women’s health and physical activity. The beloved 7 km annual run, which began in 1988, has grown into a phenomenal gathering, with a record participation of over 16,000 women in recent years.
The event is run over a 7 kilometre course that welcomes runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. It’s a day where mothers and daughters, friends, and colleagues come together to share in the exhilaration of physical activity in a supportive environment.
The day’s festivities are hosted at the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds and the whole family is welcome, as the event offers activities for everybody. Children can take part in the Limpa Kids Run, while the Men’s Day Care keeps men occupied with different sporty activities and entertainment. The event will end with a concert by Smilers.
If you want to know more about the full schedule or take part yourself in the run, then visit the official LHV May Run website here.
