In the idyllic western Estonian spa town of Haapsalu, flowers will take over Kastani street this Saturday, May 25. On Flower Day, gardeners will sell their most beautiful seedlings and flowers to visitors.
Flower Day, which is organised by Haapsalu Cultural Centre will take place from 9 am to 3 pm this Saturday. All along Kastani Street, you can buy high-quality seedlings directly from the growers. On the spot, you can also get useful information about cultivation and care of seedlings and flowers.
The distance from Tallinn to Haapsalu is about one hundred kilometers and you can get there not only by car but also by bus. The first bus leaves from the Tallinn bus station at 8:00 am and every hour from then on (9:00 am, 10:00 am, etc). A one-way ticket costs 9–10 euros.
