A three-day Board Game Hackathon will take place at Aparaaditehas in Tartu this weekend (November 1 to 3). The event will give board game enthusiasts aged 14 and over the chance to turn their ideas into a reality and learn how to create a board game from scratch.
Over the course of three days, participants will brainstorm, prototype and test their ideas, gaining hands-on experience in game design. No prior knowledge of board game development is required – just a passion for board games and a willingness to put new ideas into practice.
The event includes an overnight stay at Tartu Lille Youth Centre and daytime activities at Aparaaditehas. For a fee of just five euros, participants can also enjoy breakfast and lunch throughout the hackathon.
More information about the event and how to register is available on the official Tartu 2024 website.
