22 July Kadriorg Park Anniversary, Tallinn

Tallinn’s most beautiful urban park, together with its many museums, celebrates its 308th anniversary. Throughout the afternoon, there will be plenty of activities for children, while an English-language guided tour of the park begins at 16:00. The celebrations conclude at 20:00 with a concert by Rita Ray, accompanied by a string orchestra. Don’t miss Tallinn Rose Days at the Tallinn Botanic Garden, taking place throughout the week.

 

23–26 July Muhu Café Days, Muhu Island

During Muhu Café Days, the island’s permanent residents and summer locals open their village squares and private gardens to visitors. The cafés serve everything from traditional local specialities prepared using family recipes to gourmet dishes inspired by the mainland. Most cafés are open only over the weekend, while some begin the festivities a day earlier on Thursday.

 

23–26 July Viljandi Folk, Viljandi

Held at Viljandi Castle Hills and throughout the town centre since the 1990s, this folk music festival celebrates regional identity and traditions while bringing them into a modern context. It is considered one of the best-known folk festivals in the Nordic countries, if not the world.

 

23–26 July Jõgevatreff Motorcycle Rally, Kuremaa

Since 1992, motorcycle enthusiasts from across Europe have gathered by Lake Kuremaa near Jõgeva to enjoy a weekend of riding and entertainment. The programme includes live music, organised rides, a large parade ride to the lakeside town of Mustvee on Lake Peipus on Saturday, and a variety of other activities.

 

24–25 July Grand Street Food Festival, Haapsalu

Over two days, more than 90 food trucks and street kitchens from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Finland will serve dishes ranging from traditional Ukrainian cuisine to Italian gelato. Admission to the festival area along Haapsalu’s seaside promenade is free.

 

25 July Nublikum Festival, Keila

Keila-born rapper Markkus Pulk, better known as nublu, once again invites music fans to his hometown’s modern open-air stage. This year’s guests include Australian drum and bass DJ Luude, as well as some of Estonia’s rising stars, including Nancy, An-Marlen and Karl Killing. Visitors arriving from Tallinn by train will also have plenty of time to explore this charming small town before the festival begins.

 

25 July Jazz Near Estonia’s Eastern Border, Narva-Jõesuu

The spa town’s one-day jazz festival features one of Italy’s leading jazz pianists, Dado Moroni, Irish soul and jazz singer Dana Masters, Estonian jazz star Kadri Voorand performing as a duo with Mihkel Mälgand, and Finland’s rising jazz talent Pauli Halonen with his Groove Trio.

 

25–26 July Estonian Athletics Championships, Pärnu

Head to Pärnu Beach Stadium to watch Estonia’s top athletes compete as they prepare for the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham in August, while promising young talents challenge the country’s established stars. 25–26 July Open Farm Days, Across Estonia

More than 300 dairy farms, manor estates, vineyards, cut-flower growers, cheesemakers, agricultural training farms and other rural businesses open their doors to visitors. The event website’s interactive map includes each location’s programme, coordinates, direct-from-the-producer markets and practical visitor information.

 

26 July Põhjala Factory Antique Flea Market, Tallinn

From 9:00 to 16:00, the courtyard of Põhjala Factory fills with antiques, design objects, retro treasures and unique vintage finds. Market stalls offer everything from furniture and tableware to artworks and decorative home accessories, each with its own story to tell.
