A traditional air show for aviation fans, the Estonian Aviation Museum is proud to welcome visitors to Estonian Aviation Days 2026, the largest airplane show in the Baltics. For two days on 6–7 June, families and friends can enjoy watching flight demonstrations of aircraft new and old, and aerobatics, also known as stunt flying.
The Baltic Bees, from Latvia, are the first aerobatics team on this side of Europe. Founded in 2008, the team use six very distinctively coloured Aero L-39 Albatros jets for precision stunt-flying. This civilian team has performed in several countries, and is a treat to watch for any visitor.
On the ground, visitors can see several fighter jets used by the various members of the NATO defence forces up close. You’ll be surprised to see one of these at such close range…either because they’re larger than expected, or smaller. Regardless, if you are around to see one take off, you will be shocked at how loud they are. Visitors with children are recommended to bring ear plugs.
Other fun events at Estonian Aviation Days will be the Scandinavian air show, the children’s activities, the Aviation Museum itself, and the general atmosphere. The Estonian Aviation Museum is near Tartu Airport, just south of the city itself. The site can be reached by bus, and if traveling by car, parking is available but for a fee of €5, which is purchased at the same time as admission to the event. Cash is preferred.
The full schedule is available in English here.
