XIX Tallinn Winter Festival—Open Your HeartNeeme Ots, an awarded Estonian trumpet soloist with international career will perform among other musicians in the opening concert of the Festival.

The XIX Tallinn Winter Festival, taking place from 10–22 February 2026, returns as one of Estonia’s most cherished cultural events, lighting up the winter season with an inspiring blend of classical music, and international cooperation. Organised by the Pille Lill Music Fund, or PLMF, and proudly carrying the EFFE quality label for 2026–2027, the festival continues its mission to bring world-class music to Tallinn while helping the next generation of musicians.

This year’s festival takes place in several of the city’s most popular venues, including Tallinn’s Town Hall, Swedish St Michael’s Church, and the Jaan Poska House, creating a warm and welcoming cultural experience in the heart of winter. This year’s festival brings together acclaimed Estonian artists and guests from Italy, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, and more, offering audiences a wide variety of concerts ranging from chamber music to singing, and a vibrant opera gala.

True to tradition, the festival continues its charitable initiative “Open Your Eyes, Open Your Heart.” In 2026, 20% of ticket revenue will support the creation of a Tallinn Chamber Opera, and audiences are encouraged to contribute further to help bring this new cultural institution to life.

The full programme for the Tallinn Winter Festival, as well as ticket information, are available here.
