Food Street by Lake Peipus is set to come alive again this winter with the return of the Wild Full Moon Night Feast on Saturday, 7 February 7, from 17:00 till midnight. This beloved culinary and cultural event invites visitors to experience an unforgettable evening filled with grills, local flavours, and fun activities for the whole family under the glow of the full moon.
Over 30 one-night pop-up restaurants along the historic Lake Peipus Food Street, stretching from the bakeries of the village of Pagari to Setomaa, will open their yards and courtyards to offer winter-inspired menus, grilled meals, and warm drinks. The feast’s foods and drinks are designed to keep you warm on the inside and outside, enhanced by the full moon.
In addition to the culinary delights, the event features a variety of activities for all ages. Attendees can enjoy winter traditions such as sleigh rides, ice carousel spins on frozen ponds or lakes, museum and exhibition visits, horseback riding, light installations, and opportunities to pet some animals. Local musicians will provide live entertainment, and smoke saunas will be heated up in several locations for visitors to relax in.
The Wild Full Moon Night Feast celebrates the rich culinary heritage and community spirit of the Lake Peipus region, bringing together local producers, home restaurateurs, and visitors in a shared celebration of taste, culture, and enjoying winter. Admission to the event is free.
