Georgian Dance Troupe Touring Estonia

Georgia’s national dance styles capture the country’s history in movement. Each twist, every turn reflects what the people of Georgia have experienced in their lives. This one-of-a-kind dance performance is required viewing for anyone who loves the Estonian Song and Dance Festival.

“Magical Georgia” is the title of this tour put on by the Royal National Ballet of Georgia. Founded in 2008 by Georgian choreographers, the troupe has been applauded by more than 40 million people in 80 countries since. Spectators experience the towns and cities of Georgia as the dancers take them on a tour across the mountains and plains of their country via dance. Movement however is not the only thing that wows audiences: over 370 national Georgian costumes, and the country’s unique brand of music complement the performance to create an incredibly memorable evening.

Gela Potskhishvili, one of the founders of the troupe, comments, “I find it hard to believe that anyone who has seen authentic Georgian folk dancing could not find it unforgettably enjoyable. And if you see the Royal National Ballet of Georgia perform, it will be just perfect!”

“Magical Georgia” will last for approximately one hour and 40 minutes, with an intermission. Good seats are still available here, and the event is for the whole family.
