The Burman: The best new five-star hotel in the world according to Michelin, right in the middle of the Old Town.
Staying the night in Tallinn gets easier, more convenient, and more luxurious every year, and 2025 is no exception. The Baltic Guide is proud to introduce to you four new hotels, all right downtown. One is officially the best new hotel in the world, and one is so new it hasn’t even opened yet. Let’s start in order of affordability, and availability.

Hampton by Hilton Tallinn
The Hampton, run by world-renowned hotel group Hilton, opened its doors earlier this year. Conveniently located on Tartu mnt, the location offers wonderful access to the airport via tram, as a tram stop is right outside. The Central Market is also just a couple of minutes away on foot, as well as the beginning of Tallinn’s business district. Rooms in this four-star hotel start at €85 on short notice, and the hotel offers a free hot breakfast, an on-site restaurant, a fitness gym, and even pet-friendly rooms.

Hyatt Place Tallinn
Located at Sadama 4 near Tallinn’s passenger terminals, the four-star Hyatt Place offers ferry passengers exceptionally convenient access to both the Old Town and the way home. Just moments away from Tallinn’s new tram line, Hyatt Place allows guests to access everywhere in Tallinn without the need for a taxi. Rooms start at €113 for same-day reservations, and guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant, pet-friendly rooms, fitness gym, and electric vehicle charging. Hyatt Place is fully accessible for people of all abilities.

The Burman Hotel
In the heart of Tallinn’s Old Town, at Rataskaevu 7, this five-star luxury hotel opened its doors in March of this year. The Burman has already won the Michelin Special Award for Best New Hotel 2025, meaning it is the best new hotel in the world. With only 17 rooms and suites starting at €337 for a same-day booking, depending on availability, guests are guaranteed a luxurious stay. Even the woodwork of the floors makes the price worth it in every way. The spa offers every service imaginable, and guests are guaranteed an unforgettable experience in fine dining for each meal of the day. The Burman Hotel is the fantastic result of a €75 million investment by the Bombay Group.

Novotel Tallinn
This four-star hotel located at Poordi 5 in Tallinn’s Old Harbour District will be opening its doors sometime this November or December. Room prices for a short-notice booking are expected to be around €125, and the hotel will offer guests a fitness gym, on-site restaurant, room service, a terrace, and free breakfast. Just moments away from Tallinn’s new tram line, as well as the Old Town, both easily accessible on foot.
