Kraftwerk—the German electronic music pioneers—are coming to Tallinn on 18 November as part of their global “Multimedia Tour” at the Alexela Concert Hall. The show highlights their music since their breakthrough album “Autobahn” more than 50 years ago.
The performance promises a fusion of electronic music, computer animation, and performance art—what the press describe as a “true Gesamtkunstwerk”, or “a total work of art”, based on the idea of humanity and machines living in symbiosis. The concert will include classic tracks such as “Tour de France”, “The Model”, “The Robots” and “Trans‑Europe Express”.
For fans of Kraftwerk and of immersive audio‑visual experiences, Kraftwerk’s Tallinn concert offers a rare opportunity. The band’s status as electronic music trailblazers means that the show will not just be a musical performance, but also a sophisticated visual and technological spectacle. It’s ideal for those who appreciate pioneering soundscapes and smart design, combined with live performance.
Attendees should expect more than a typical concert: this event aims to engage sight and sound in equal measure. Doors open at 18:00, and the concert starts an hour later. Make sure you’re not late, as latecomers are not allowed to enter. Tickets are available here.
