Federico Fellini’s Films on Stage and Screen

This year marks 32 years since the death of the iconic Italian director Federico Fellini. The memory of the great master of cinema is being honoured in Tallinn and Tartu with an extensive programme running from 3 to 22 November.

The anniversary celebration opens with “La Dolce Vita” by Balletto di Milano, directed by Carlo Pesta. The performance is a tribute that brings Fellini’s world to the stage as a new kind of poetry in motion. The shows will take place on 3–4 November at Südalinna Theatre. Tickets are available here.

At the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival—PÖFF—two of Fellini’s classics will be screened: “8½” and “La Dolce Vita”. The former will be shown in Tallinn on 10 November, and Tartu on 15 November, while “La Dolce Vita” will screen only in Tallinn on 22 November.

More information about “8½” and tickets are available here.
