Estonian Music Week offers music fans the perfect opportunity to discover Estonian music if they aren’t already familiar with it. People who are already familiar with Estonian music of course will also have the chance to enjoy it even more. This festival celebrates Estonian composers, music, and musicians.

Concerts in Tallinn, Tartu, and Narva will be held, featuring 41 musicians, and focusing on the works of four great composers in Estonia’s history. The music of Heino Eller, Veljo Tormis, Arvo Pärt, and Urmas Sisask will come alive on the stage in each concert. Many of these works are very rarely performed, so this is a great chance to discover some hidden gems!

Various concerts will also focus on different eras in Estonian music history, including selections of chamber and solo music. The musicians themselves are from numerous musical fields as well, ensuring an incredibly diverse selection of performances.

Concerts will be in Tallinn in the Grand Hall of EMTA, or the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, on 1–3 and 5–6 November. The concert of 4 November will be in the Tubin Hall in Tartu, and a second concert on 5 November will be in Narva’s Town Hall.

A festival pass is available for all concerts, or tickets for individual concerts can be purchased here.
