PRIME Orchestra: Rock Sympho Show IV

A “hurricane of emotions” is how the PRIME Orchestra, originally from Kharkiv, Ukraine, describes what audiences experience at their concerts. Taking the best that rock’n’roll has to offer, and combining it perfectly with the sounds of a symphonic orchestra, the Rock Sympho Show IV promises to be an unforgettable evening of soul food for the senses.

The PRIME Orchestra was founded in 2014 by Maksym Maksymenko, who is also the concert director; Iurii Rybalka, who is also the director and screenwriter; and Oleksiy Khorolsky, who is also the orchestral manager and sound producer. After having given over a thousand concerts throughout Europe over the years, starting in 2022 the main goal of the PRIME Orchestra is to entertain audiences in various cities while also increasing awareness of the aggression that has been directed toward their home country of Ukraine.

Their choice of music ranges from the classical rock of the 70s, to the Grunge Era and beyond in the 90s. Including rock, rap, electronic anthems, and of course pop, all beautifully interpreted as only a symphonic orchestra could. Using state-of-the-art visual technology, this concert will be unlike anything you have ever witnessed.

Three concerts are planned for Estonia during the PRIME Orchestra’s tour this season. The first is on 30 October in Tartu, the next night on Halloween in Jõhvi, and finally on 1 November in Tallinn.

A partial list of their repertoire is available here, so you can see if your favourite songs might be played at one of these concerts.
