Peter Bence has become somewhat of a household name for his piano performances, many of which have gone viral in the past years. The 34-year old Hungarian’s videos have been viewed over half a billion times. He is known for playing popular songs with only his piano, yet he is somehow able to incorporate all the instruments from the original song into his version.
This Thursday, 2 October, Peter Bence will thrill the audience in Tallinn’s Alexela Concert Hall with a full concert. While he is most widely known for his covers, which brilliantly fuse pop and classical, his concert will include several selections from his most recent album, “Pianosphere”, which features many original compositions.
As he can cover multiple instruments all on one piano, his music can be described as a one-man symphony, often also incorporating rhythm machines, electronic effects, various other devices, as well as a whole host of stunning visual effects.
Bence has played many of the most famous venues in the world, including the Sydney Opera House, and VIctoria Hall in Geneva. He has also been a Guinness world record-holder for hitting the most number of piano notes in one minute, clocking in at a stunning 765 keys. He also published his first original composition at the tender age of 7, and has by today released a total of four full-length albums.
