Find the best breakfast and brunch spots offering dishes for all agesTallink Spa & Conference's Restaurant Nero offers an international brunch menu.

Tallinn offers a diverse selection of high-quality breakfast spots where you can enjoy delicious meals at your own pace, whether alone or with loved ones. Here’s a roundup of the city’s most interesting breakfast and brunch destinations.

Classic hotel brunches

Several hotels in Tallinn offer high-quality brunch experiences at reasonable prices. At City Grill House in the Tallink City Hotel, the brunch menu is built around hearty grilled dishes, while the restaurant Nero at the Tallink Spa & Conference Hotel specialises in Italian cuisine.

In the business district, the Senso restaurant at Radisson Blu Olympia offers a visually and flavourfully curated brunch, with a focus on high-quality appetisers and main courses.

All three restaurants include unlimited sparkling wine with brunch.

All foods and drinks at Kringeli are vegan. The café also offers a catering menu for parties.

Breakfast at a café

Tallinn’s café culture offers plenty of options for those who prefer something other than a buffet. Located in Kadriorg Park, Katharinenthal provides an elegant café atmosphere in a historic setting. Nearby, Gourmet Coffee is known for its diverse breakfast menu, including options for special dietary needs.

The Rotermann district is a super trendy “city within a city” area, home to spots like Gallery Café, which lives up to its name by nourishing both body and soul—you can enjoy a curated art exhibition while having breakfast.

Vegetarians and vegans should head to Kringel Café, located in the Uus Maailm neighbourhood. Two other vegan-friendly cafés worth mentioning are Rohe and Nihe.

UDU Restaurant provides customers with its own breakfast menu.

Harbour and city centre-area breakfast spots

Early birds and ferry arrivals will find a wide selection of breakfast cafés around Tallinn’s harbour area. Loulou, Love Coffee, UDU, and Kohvik Kai are all popular among locals and visitors alike.

In the city centre, you’ll find the more traditional Kohvik Narva, known for its pastries that have earned a reputation over decades—though opinions on the service vary. Further south along Pärnu Road, Kohvik Grenka is almost always packed. The portions are generous and tasty, evoking the kind of cozy, unforgettable flavours you’d find in grandma’s kitchen made from everyday ingredients.

Literaat’s brunch includes filling and traditional breakfast dishes.

Breakfast in Kalamaja

Boheem was one of the first café/restaurants in Kalamaja, long before Telliskivi’s Creative Hub turned the area into a foodie destination. This charming café serves up stuffed pancakes, omelets, smoothies, and other morning treats.

Also worth a visit is Literaat, located inside the Rahva Raamat bookstore, which has become a popular breakfast and lunch spot.

Head isu! Bon appétit!
