Fashion Documentaries in Tallinn in OctoberMania Grandiosa

The fashion film festival MoeKunstiKino will take place in Tallinn from 7 to 12 October 2025, showcasing documentaries that offer a behind-the-scenes look at the world of fashion.

The main characters in the festival’s films include legendary designers, photographers and journalists, as well as emerging fashion personalities. The documentaries reveal that fashion is not just about seasonal trends and striking catwalks—it is a complex phenomenon that communicates personal messages and reflects broader societal issues.

“Fashion is a mirror of what is topical in society,” says festival coordinator Helen Saluveer, who has been bringing fashion-related films to Estonian audiences for 19 years.

MoeKunstiKino offers a unique opportunity to explore why and how the fashion world operates, and why it ultimately affects each of us. During the festival, ten documentaries will be screened—you can find more information about the films here.
