Children’s Event in the Courtyard of the Museum of Estonian Architecture

The Museum of Estonian Architecture is kicking off the autumn season with a family-friendly event series called “Out With the Kids.” The first event will take place on Saturday, 20 September, starting at 11:00, when children can draw with sidewalk chalk around the museum grounds. The programme also includes traditional outdoor games. Did you know that the jump rope game was already known in ancient Rome?

“Out With the Kids” is a monthly Saturday morning museum event aimed at children of all ages, accompanied by parents, grandparents, or guardians.

During these urban space mornings, participants explore the surrounding urban environment and architecture through play and activities. The event takes place outdoors, so it’s good to dress according to the weather, and wear clothes that can withstand chalk and street dust. In case of rain, the programme moves indoors to the museum.

Tickets should be bought in advance here or at the museum’s ticket office so the group leader can prepare the right amount of materials and plan for the number of participants.

More information about the Museum of Estonian Architecture’s programmes can be found here.
