Pikk Street Festival 2025

Tallinn’s Old Town is one of the most well-preserved medieval sites in the world. What could be better for someone who is interested in its history than to enjoy a festival celebrating its history, traditions, culture, architecture, and cuisine? Yes, Old Town cuisine! The Pikk Street Festival will feature a very long picnic-style table with approximately 250 seats where visitors can choose from an incredible selection of foods from several Old Town restaurants.

In addition to this medieval feast, visitors will have the unique opportunity to explore the many private courtyards that are normally closed to the public. There will also be an antique market, several workshops, concerts, as well as museums, such as the Fat Margaret Museum, which is a centrepiece of Tallinn’s architectural grandeur.

The picnic itself will take place in the Roheline turg, or “Green Market”, a gorgeous area surrounded by cobblestoned streets built on the slopes of a hill. In the unfortunate event of inclement weather, the picnic will take place in the House of the Blackheads, itself an architectural delight. Reservations for the picnic can be made here.

Some of the restaurants offering their gourmet masterpieces are Pan y Vino, Hell Hunt, Texas Cantina, Odessa, 5 Senses, Tbilisi, Carlo’s Kitchen, and Ports Kitchen and Bar.

Come on out to the Pikk Street Festival on 14 September, which is being held for the second year in a row!
