Estonian Children’s Literature Centre Opens New Illustration Exhibition

The Estonian Children’s Literature Centre’s exhibition “Väikesed lood igal pool” (“Small Stories Everywhere”) presents the works of Lithuanian artists Lina Dūdaitė and Marius Jonutis. The illustrations are full of warmth, joy of life, and imaginative worlds tinged with fantasy.

Lina Dūdaitė is an illustrator and graphic designer who graduated from the Vilnius Academy of Arts. Her delicate and poetic style has enriched many children’s books. Dūdaitė’s works are born from her love for books and stories, which she brings to life in a new and personal way in her illustrations. In addition to illustrating books, she teaches young artists at the Vilnius Academy of Arts.

Marius Jonutis is an artist whose works are known for their joy of life and brightness. As a graphic artist and sculptor, he specialises in illustrations and pictures made of wood. His works have been exhibited in over 70 solo exhibitions in Lithuania, Denmark, Germany, and France. His art reflects his love for nature and the small joys of everyday life, which he experiences daily at home in the midst of nature.

Both artists share a sincere desire to share beauty, happiness, and the magic of imagination. Their illustrations offer the viewer the opportunity to travel on the wings of stories to worlds where goodness and love reign.

The exhibition will be open at the Estonian Children’s Literature Centre until 27 June, 2025.
