Tallinn Music Week Is Almost Here

Tallinn Music Week has become one of the most important music festivals in a country that is known for music. And festivals! This year’s lineup includes 175 artists from 39 countries and six continents. Live music isn’t the only must-see gem in the programme: there will also be a conference discussing AI, a ballet performance, and several other genres of performances.

In fact, this year’s event is so big that various venues will host specific country-themed nights. Made in Canada in F-Hoone, Taiwan Music Flight in Erinevate Tubade Klubi, ÅÄÖ…Sounds Swedish in Uus Laine, Fenno-Ugria Night, again in F-Hoone, featuring artists from Estonia’s international roots, and Africa NOW! in Fotografiska.

Every genre of music imaginable will be represented at this year’s Tallinn Music Week Festival. Funk, soul, rock, electronic, even choral. With over 20,000 attendees each year and a thousand music industry execs, TMW is a great festival for seeing the best live acts around, as well as up-and-coming artists.

The City Festival, a free, daytime part of Tallinn Music Week, also features live music, art, cuisine, a children’s programme, and more. Located throughout Tallinn, visitors can experience the diversity of Tallinn’s neighbourhoods.

Festival passes for this year’s event, the 17th since 2009, are available here. Tickets can be purchased for individual events and days, the entire festival, as well as the conference on 4–5 April.
