Orchid exhibition returns to Tallinn Botanic Garden

From February 28 to March 9, the annual Orchid Exhibition returns to Tallinn Botanic Garden, showcasing a selection of rare wild species and cultivated hybrids. With flowers blooming at different times, the display will evolve throughout the event.

Visitors can purchase flowering orchids from Rikets Lilled, featuring an exclusive collection sourced from ten specialist nurseries in Germany and the Netherlands. Over 500 varieties will be available, including rare species like Vanilla imperialis and orchids from lesser-known genera such as Gongora, Maxillaria, and Bulbophyllum.

From March 6 to 9, German orchid garden Currlin Orchideen will also offer orchids for sale.

The Palm House will be open daily from 11.00 am to 4 pm (Wednesdays until 7 pm). Due to construction, parking is limited, so travelling to the botanic garden by public transport is recommended.

Entry to the exhibition is accessible with a standard botanic garden ticket.

More information is available on Botanic Garden’s official website.
