Electronic music pioneer and visionary Jean-Michel Jarre will take to the stage at Unibet Arena in Tallinn on June 17. The artist’s show will be complemented by an unforgettable light and laser show. The last time Jarre performed in Estonia was almost ten years ago – to a sold-out crowd.
Jarre is a true futurist and inventor who has captivated audiences for decades with his unique sound, visual effects and multimedia productions. He has released 22 studio albums to date, which have sold more than 85 million copies worldwide. As a UNESCO Ambassador for Education, Science and Culture, he has been widely recognised for his environmentally conscious and socially responsible concert projects.
Jarre was also the first Western artist to perform in China, back in 1981. In addition to China, Jarre has taken his music to the foot of the pyramids in Egypt, the Sahara Desert, the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square in China, the Eiffel Tower in France, the Dead Sea in Jordan and many other UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Tickets for the Jean-Michel Jarre concert go on sale on Piletilevi on Friday, February 28 at 10 am. Baltic Live Agency Concert Club members can buy tickets from Tuesday, February 24 by registering their email for free at www.balticlive.ee.
