Bi-2 to perform orchestral rock concert in Tallinn

Beloved Belarusian rock band Bi-2 are set to perform a grand orchestral concert at the Unibet Arena in Tallinn on August 31. This special event will feature majestic renditions of their popular songs, performed alongside the 65-member Riga Symphony Orchestra.

Bi-2, who first made waves in the late 1980s and gained prominence in Moscow in the late 1990s, have a storied history of blending rock with orchestral elements. Their orchestral project began in 2003, transforming their hits into grand symphonic arrangements. The band’s previous orchestral performances in Estonia in 2008 and 2009 were met with critical acclaim and sold-out crowds at Tallinn’s Linnahall.

The upcoming concert promises to build on this legacy, combining the band’s powerful rock anthems with the lush sounds of a full orchestra. The performance will feature elaborate stage designs and costumes, creating a visually and musically captivating experience.

Bi-2’s discography includes eleven studio albums and collaborations with prominent artists like Oxxxymiron, Brainstorm, and John Grant. Their most recent album, “Hallelujah,” released in the autumn of 2022, will be featured alongside classic hits. The band’s 2023 world tour included over sixty shows across thirty countries, further cementing their reputation as a dynamic live act.
