Station Narva announces first performersSpiritualized

Station Narva, a music and city festival in Narva that will take place on September 5 to 8, has unveiled the first performers in its music programme. This year’s edition promises an eclectic lineup of international and local acts. The main performers will be British legends Spiritualized and Massive Attack co-founder Daddy G. Joining them are Ukrainian Eurovision finalists Go A, as well as Estonian favourites Puuluup and NOËP, among others.

Spiritualized, renowned for their orchestral rock sound, will grace the main stage with a blend of American gospel echoes, hypnotic grooves, and symphonic undertones. Fronted by Jason Pierce, the band’s spellbinding performances are expected to resonate deeply within the castle walls, showcasing their signature contrasts of introspection and catharsis.

Daddy G, a pivotal figure in Massive Attack’s pioneering trip-hop sound, brings his genre-defying DJ skills to Narva. His set promises to traverse musical landscapes ranging from reggae and punk to house and dubstep, ensuring a dynamic fusion that appeals to diverse tastes.

Go_A from Ukraine gained international acclaim with their Eurovision hit “Шум” (“Shum”) will captivate the Narva audience with their innovative blend of folktronica. Meanwhile, Puuluup will share their unique fusion of neo-zombie post-folk that pushes artistic boundaries.

In addition to the evening concerts within the castle grounds, festival-goers can look forward to daytime activities such as free city stage concerts, public discussions at the BAZAR series, and immersive tours of Narva’s cultural landmarks. Art exhibitions and traditional Narva-style breakfasts will further enrich the festival experience.

Tickets for Station Narva 2024 are already available, with festival passes priced at €45 and daily tickets at €25. They can be purchased online via TMW https://shop.tmw.ee/.
