Celebrate summer with live music on Muhu island

The 28th annual Juu Jääb Festival will take place this coming weekend (July 4-7) on the beautiful Muhu Island in western Estonia. The four-day event, known for being the largest music of the year on the island, will be hosted at the Muhu Music Farm and various other scenic venues around the island.

Throughout the festival, performances will not only grace the stage of Muhu Music Farm but also locations such as Pädaste Manor, Muhu St. Catherine’s Church, as well as Kuressaare Arensburg Boutique Hotel & Spa Terrace, in Saaremaa. The lineup includes artists from the UK, Italy, Finland, and Estonia.

The festival kicks off on July 4 with Xantone Blacq & Kari Paavola (UK/FIN) bringing their electrifying fusion of funk and vibrant performances to the Arensburg Boutique Hotel & Spa terrace.

July 5 promises a diverse lineup as Federico Casagrande & Francesco Bearzatti (IT) explore new musical landscapes with their collaborative project “And then the winter came again” at Pädaste Manor. Meanwhile, Ivi Rausi launches her album “Elust läbi lenneldes” ( “Flying through life” in English) at Muhu Music Farm, that blends jazz and soul influences. Simultaneously, IMAANI from the UK will captivate with her soulful vocals and Kirke Karja + Sireenid from Estonia will offer a concert inspired by sirens and mythical sea creatures, at Muhu Music Farm.

The festival will conclude on July 6 with Kadri Voorand (EST) enchanting the audience with her versatile compositions spanning pop, folk, jazz and rock at Muhu Music Farm.
