A Week of Melodies: The 27th Suure-Jaani Music Festival

The 27th Suure-Jaani Music Festival will take place from June 16 to June 23, 2024. The event celebrates the legacy of the composers Joosep, Artur, Eugen and Villem Kapp with a diverse program of concerts, cultural events, and discussions, culminating in a unique sunrise concert on the Hüpassaare bog island.

Throughout the week, visitors can enjoy a variety of concerts and events. Highlights include a gala concert by Yena Choi and Marta Ojasoo, performances of classical pieces by Bach and Vivaldi, and a concert by the Estonian National Male Choir. Additionally, there will be daily lunch-hour sessions featuring discussions with notable figures such as conductor Rein Vendla and entrepreneur Väino Kaldoja.

The festival will conclude with a Sunrise concert on June 23, featuring the Tallinn Boys’ Choir. This unique event, set on the Hüpassaare bog island, will see nature and music become harmoniously intertwined. Tickets and festival passes are available for purchase at Fienta, discounts for seniors, students, and children are also available.

For more information about the event and the full programme of concerts and other activities, please visit the official Suure-Jaani Music Festival website.
