Matteo Bocelli, son of the renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli, is set to perform in Estonia for the very first time. The young artist will grace the stage at Tallinn’s Alexela Concert Hall on June 16 as part of his “A Night With Matteo” tour, which introduces his debut album “Matteo” to European audiences.
Matteo Bocelli’s tour marks a significant milestone in his burgeoning career. The 26-year-old singer and composer, educated at the Conservatory of Music in Lucca, Italy, blends classical influences with contemporary pop sounds. His debut album, released last year, features collaborations with notable artists, including Ed Sheeran, who co-wrote the song “Chasing Stars” Sheeran praised Matteo’s rendition, saying, “I love the finished version with Matteo, he’s such a talent. I hope everyone else enjoys it!”
Matteo gained widespread recognition in 2018 with “Fall on Me” a duet with his father, Andrea Bocelli. The touching father-son ballad has garnered over 400 million global streams. His first single, “Solo” released in 2020, showcases his unique blend of classical and pop music. Matteo also ventured into acting in 2022, starring alongside Idris Elba and Tilda Swinton in “Three Thousand Years of Longing.” The film’s soundtrack features Matteo’s song “Cautionary Tale”.
His concerts are known for their intimate atmosphere and his engaging stage presence. Sadly, tomorrow’s concert is already sold out.
