The biggest event of the month in Narva will take place this weekend – May 31 to June 2. Unlike other city days around Estonia, the Days of Narva event is all about participation with visitors encouraged to take part in sports, competitions, performances, exhibitions, and much more.
This year’s Days of Narva event will kick off on Friday (May 31) with a festival opening procession, which culminates with a concert programme in the EV100 park that includes a performance by Tanja Mihhailova-Saar.
Saturday’s concerts include performances by the Estonian Band Traffic, and singer Alika.
However, the big theme of the weekend is participation. With thousands of people expected to take part in the Narva City Run on Saturday, which combines a half marathon (21 km) as well as shorter 5 km running and walking events.
On Sunday, there will be a soap box rally in the Joarg recreation area, as well as an artist’s day and festival at the Narva Art Residency (NART).
All of the events except for the Narva City Run are free to attend and take part in. For more information about the event, visit the official Narva city website here (in Estonian).
