A lowdown of the big events at the beginning of this summerTallinn Old Town Days celebrates the history and culture of the oldest part of the city.

 

25–26.05 Kuressaare Street Festival

At this annual festival, the streets of downtown Kuressaare are closed to traffic and replaced with pop-up restaurants, stalls, garage sales, and more.

 

31.05–02.06 Narva City Days

At Narva City Days, rather than simply watching organised events, visitors are encouraged to take part in performances, exhibitions, sports competitions, and more.

 

 

Haapsalu’s beautiful episcopal castle will play host to the Italian Music Festival.

 

01.06 Haapsalu Italian Music Festival

Ricchi e Poveri and Riccardo Fogli are the headliners at this year’s Italian Music Festival in the grounds of Haapsalu’s Episcopal Castle. On the same day, the Italian Wine Festival will also be taking place in the city.

 

07–08.06 Grillfest

Over 50,000 people are expected to attend this year’s edition of Grillfest at Vallikäär Meadow in Pärnu. As well as food from more than 300 Estonian and international caterers, entertainment for the whole family will be available at this free-to-attend event. 

 

07–09.06 Tallinn Old Town Days

Throughout the 3 day festival, which has been held since 1983, there will be numerous free concerts and performances, tours, activities for children, and more. All of which celebrate the history and culture of the oldest part of the city.

 

Sting has won no less than 17 Grammys.

 

10.06 Sting Concert

The 17-time Grammy award-winning artist will perform at Tartu’s Song Festival Grounds as part of his “My Songs” world tour. The concert is one of the marquee events of Tartu’s years as European Capital of Culture 2024.

 

13–16.06 Sõru Jazz

The cozy Sõru Jazz Festival is one of the biggest events of the year on the island of Hiiumaa. At the festival, visitors are treated to music from well-known Estonian musicians.

 

06.07 Emajõgi River Festival

The Emajõgi river that meanders through the centre of Tartu, plays host to one of the biggest events of the summer in the city.  Along the river’s picturesque banks, visitors will find a wide array of different events and opportunities to get out on the water.
