Children’s Opera and Ballet Festival in Narva

From April 15 to 20, the 3rd annual Children’s Opera and Ballet Festival will take place in Narva. The event, which is part of Narva‘s Opera Days (that will take place in August), is aimed at children, families with children, and school groups.
Music is known to be an art form that crosses both language and cultural boundaries. “This is integration in the best sense of the word – through culture, music, and dance in the Estonian border town,” described Julia Savitskaja, the festival’s creative director and main organiser.
The program of the Children’s Opera and Ballet Festival 2024 includes Prokofiev’s famous fairy tale musical “Peter and the Wolf”, the Baltic Ballet Theatre’s first performance of “Flowers and Karl”, the Estonian National Ballet’s “Ballet Story”, and the concert “Nature in Music”.
More detailed information about the full programme of the festival and ticket details can be found here. On the same site, you can also find out more about the Narva Opera Days festival, which will take place between August 21 and 25, 2024.
