It’s fair to say that Tallinn’s old town square has lost some of its sparkle since the traditional annual Christmas market ended last weekend. However, from tonight until the end of January a magical illuminated forest will appear in the square, the centerpiece of which is the Christmas tree itself.
The countryside has been brought to the very heart of Tallinn, as tonight, at 5 pm, a magical illuminated forest adorned with lights, animals, and other decorations will be opened in Tallinn’s town hall square.
The centerpiece of the forest will be the Christmas tree, which has been in the square since November. To accompany the opening event this evening (January 12), there will also be live music from the children of the DeLight song studio and dance performances from the dance ensemble Sõleke.
The enchanted forest, which is free to visit, will be open until the end of January.
