The Tallinn Illustration Triennale brings together works from world-famous illustrators

An exhibition entitled “The Power of Image” is currently on display at the Tallinn Museum of Architecture, which presents the works of the world’s most famous illustrators of the moment. The VII Tallinn Illustration Triennale exhibition, which was opened on November 3 will remain open until December 3.

A total of 82 illustrators from 26 countries are participating in the exhibition, which contains more than 300 works. The aim of the annual illustration triennial, which is celebrating its 20th edition this year, is to inspire people to become more interested in illustration. In addition to the world’s top illustrators, the triennial also highlights Estonian illustrators.

At the same time, an exhibition of illustrations by Mexican artist Amanda Mijangos, the winner of the previous triennial, is open at the Estonian Children’s Literature Centre in Tallinn.

The organisers of the exhibition and the triennial are the Estonian Children’s Literature Centre, the Estonian Graphic Design Association, and the Estonian National Library. The Triennale is supported by the City of Tallinn, the Ministry of Culture, the Estonian Cultural Fund (KULKA), the Estonian Museum of Architecture, and the Estonian Publishing Association.

You can read more about the exhibition and the Estonian Museum of Architecture on their official website here.
