Neeme Järvi to conduct one of the most powerful pieces in the history of music this weekend in Tallinn and Tartu

This Friday and Saturday world-renowned Estonian conductor Neeme Järvi will take to the stage in Tallinn and Pärnu along with the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra and other guests to perform Mahler. Symphony no 2 in C minor, which is more popularly as the “Resurrection Symphony”.
Concert audiences will be treated to Gustav Mahler’s masterpiece over two consecutive nights in Estonia this weekend. The piece which has been described as one of the most powerful pieces in the history of music, will be performed at Estonia Concert Hall in Tallinn on Friday (September 22) and Pärnu Concert Hall on Saturday (September 23).
The concerts will be conducted by world-renowned Estonian conductor Neeme Järvi, who will be joined on stage by the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, State Choir LATVIJA, as well as soloists Mirjam Mesak (soprano) and Tuuri Dede (mezzo-soprano).
