Today’s sees the beginning of the three-day-long Augustibluus musical festival in Haapsalu. This year, the event which takes place in the beautiful courtyard of Haapsalu’s Episcopal Castle as well as other locations in the city, will see performances from big names from the United States and Europe, as well as exciting local performers.
Augustibluus, which is the largest blues festival in the Baltics, is one of the oldest annual music festivals in Estonia, beginning back in 1994.
This year’s musical programme will see headline international blues acts such as British-born Matt Schofield and American band Tommy Castro & The Painkillers perform in the beautiful courtyard of Haapsalu’s Episcopal Castle. There will also be a number of other stages around the city including along the promenade and at the old railway station.
You can see the full festival program and buy tickets via the official website here.
