The fall was smaller in the manufacture of electronic products (2.3 per cent) and food products (1.4 per cent).

In April 2023, compared with April 2022, the sales of manufacturing production decreased by 11.9 per cent at current prices according to working-day adjusted data. Domestic sales fell by 14.1 per cent and export sales by 10.5 per cent.
