Bread Festival this weekend in Tallinn

 

This weekend, March 25-26, the popular Bread Festival returns to Kultuurikatel in Tallinn. At the festival, bread lovers will be able to try all manner of different bread products and learn from experts in the industry.

By popular demand, the Bread Festival returns for a second year this weekend. The two-day event, which is aimed at everyone from bread lovers to professionals in the industry, will offer exciting taste experiences from both well-known brands and new bakeries.

In addition to bread, pastries, pretzels, pies, and dishes made from bread products will be available to try and buy. Not to mention, all the tools and ingredients you will need to make them.

Throughout the two days, there will also be a wide and varied seminar programme where visitors can learn about all manner of topics from baking gluten and lactose-free breads, to olive oils and growing herbs.

From 11 am until 3 pm on both days of the festival, members of the Estonian School Nutrition Association will have 5 different salty bread spreads for visitors to try and vote on. The best bread spread will be named at 15:30 on Sunday.

The Bread Festival, which will take place at Kultuurikatel in Tallinn, will be open from 10 am – 5 pm on Saturday and 10 am – 4 pm on Sunday.

Entry to the Bread Festival cost 8 euros, but children under the age of 12 can enter free of charge. Tickets can be purchased either on the door on the day or in advance online at Piletilevi
