This year’s Eesti Laul song competition will come to a spectacular climax this Saturday (February 17) at the Tondiraba Sports Center in Tallinn. Where a total of 10 acts will compete to be crowned champion and represent Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden in May.
This year, Eesti Laul was significantly scaled down from previous years. As a result, five songs were automatically placed in this Saturday’s Grand Final with the remaining five being chosen from one semi-final, which took place in Tartu last month.
The 10 competing acts include a number of well-known and popular names in Estonia such as Ewert and The Two Dragons, 5Miinust, and Nele-Liis Vaiksoo, alongside up-and-coming artists including the likes of Ollie, who finished second in Eesti Laul last year.
You can see the full list of acts as well as their songs (about half of which are in English) below:
- Brother Apollo with “Bad Boy.”
- Carlos Ukareda with “Never Growing Up.”
- Ewert and The Two Dragons: “Hold Me Now.”
- Anet Vaikmaa: “Serotoniin.”
- Ollie: “My Friend.”
- Daniel Levi: “Over the Moon.”
- Uudo Sepp, Sarah Murray: “Still Love.”
