The popular CHI Pärnu International Equestrian Festival will begin on Friday, May 24, and run until June 2. As well as the traditional dressage, show jumping and driving, eventing is also being added to the competition programme for the first time this year.
For the fourth time in a row, the CHI Pärnu International Equestrian Festival will begin in the last weekend of May. As with tradition, the dressage competition will open the event on May 24. With national level riders competing on Friday, and International level riders on Saturday and Sunday. This will be followed by the show jumping competition that will start on May 29 in the main sand arena. The show jumping will culminate on June 2 with the Longines Ranking Grand Prix, which gives world ranking points to the winners.
On the same weekend as the show jumping there will also be national and international classes for driving. This includes the opening round of the joint Estonian–Latvian–Finnish cup.
2024 also marks a first for the CHI Pärnu International Equestrian Festival, with it hosting eventing competitions for the very first time between May 31 and June 1. Although these will only be competed at a national level this year. It is hoped that by next year already that this will also be an international level event like the other competitions in the programme.
