TALU KÕRTS (Farm Tavern)

talu kõrts, hearty, roast pork, old town, viru, tallinn, pub, tavern, vodka
Hearty foods, generous portions, and a free shot of vodka, what more could you ask for in a pub? The menu boasts traditional Estonian foods, as well as Estonian favourites. Try the fried cheese, or hunter’s burning sausages as a snack with beer. To start, the sauerkraut soup with smoked pork, or the pea soup are Estonian staples. Follow that with roasted pork and sauerkraut, or the Heretic’s pork (pork chop with roasted onions). Reasonably priced food and beers, especially when you consider the pub’s location on the main street of the Old Town. You certainly won’t go home hungry, or thirsty!
