For the second consecutive year, Volta Quarter has emerged as the most sought-after new residential development in Tallinn, both in transaction volume and sales turnover. On February 18, the district marked another milestone with the cornerstone laying of Volta Galerii Loftid, a new residential and commercial complex that will connect Volta and Krulli quarters.
According to Citify, Tallinn saw 1,235 new apartment transactions in 2024, with an average price of 4,438 euros per square meter. Põhja-Tallinn led in sales turnover, reaching 96.7 million euros, while Volta Quarter stood out with an average price of 5,161 euros per square meter.
The Volta Quarter includes “homes in both reconstructed historic buildings and trendy energy-efficient new constructions,” said Endover’s Sales Director Annika Saar. In addition, the area will soon be home to the district’s largest business centre, Volta HUB, featuring the latest MyFitness sports club, a food street, as well as service and retail spaces,” Saar explained.
By 2026, the fully redeveloped Volta Quarter will feature 750 apartments, 50,000 square meters of commercial space, and a new park, transforming it into one of Tallinn’s most dynamic districts.
