Vegan Fair to be held in Tallinn this October

On October 12 to 13, the 14th annual Vegan Fair will take place at Kultuurikatel in Tallinn, showcasing hundreds of plant-based products and promoting the vegan lifestyle.

“Vegan Fair is the only event in Estonia offering a comprehensive opportunity to dive into the exciting world of veganism. Visitors can sample a variety of plant-based foods, explore established and brand-new products, and attend talks and workshops to gain practical knowledge. We aim to create a vegan-themed experience park with something for all ages,” says Annika Lepp, the fair’s Marketing and Communications Manager.

The Vegan Fair, formerly known as the Vegetarian Food Fair, is the oldest vegan lifestyle event in the Baltics. It features exhibitors who present and sell a wide range of plant-based foods and animal- and eco-friendly products. The two-day event will also host lectures, panel discussions, workshops, and a film screening. There will also be a dedicated children’s area.

Attendees will have the opportunity to listen to panels and talks on topics such as vegan product development for large retailers, reducing food waste, the intelligence of plants, vegan soldiers on the Ukrainian front line, vegephobia, and the connection between animal rights and other social justice movements. Workshops will offer practical skills such as growing microgreens, making plant-based “cheeses,” and modern, empathetic dog training methods.

The Vegan Fair will be open from 11 am to 6 pm on October 12 and from 11 am to 4 pm on October 13. Tickets are available through Fienta.
