The extremely popular Tallinn Christmas Market will open this year on November 22. At the market, named the best in Europe in 2019, you can shop for handcrafted gifts, enjoy a wide variety of different mulled wines, and watch free live performances.
Sander Andla, Director of the Tallinn City Centre Region, will give a speech on the opening day, after which the Christmas lights will be lit on the majestic Christmas tree
At the market, you can shop for handicrafts, sweets, winter clothing and much more at the 60+ stalls. The market will also have a number of food vendors serving traditional Estonian Christmas food. A full entertainment programme of free live music and dance performances will add further to the festive atmosphere.
Children will be well catered for too, with a play area in the corner of the town hall square with no less than 3 carousels. Santa will also be in his grotto next to the stage waiting to collect children’s Christmas wishlists.
Tallinn Christmas Market will be open from November 22 to December 27 from 10 am to 8 pm. Hot drinks will be sold until 10 pm on weekdays and Sundays, and until 11 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
