Legendary Restaurant Relocated to Telliskivi

Legendary Restaurant Relocated to TelliskiviThe dining hall is spacious and high.

Opened in 2009, Restaurant Moon has long been a flagship for Slavic cuisine in Tallinn. Now, this Michelin Guide-recognised restaurant has left the seaside behind, and relocated to the trendy Telliskivi district.

Previously, Moon struggled with a lack of space, making early reservations a must. The new location is a complete game-changer. Housed in a former railway blacksmith’s workshop, the restaurant now boasts a bright, spacious setting with seating for up to 170 guests. Spread over two floors, the upper level can also be booked for private events of up to 70 people.

The modern interior features large, eye-catching light fixtures, and an open kitchen. Historical elements have been preserved in detail, such as a chandelier decorated with old coffee cups.

Food remains the main attraction. The menu includes beloved classics such as pickled mushrooms, pickles with honey, fish soup, Siberian dumplings, and Chicken Kyiv. Among the new additions, the veal liver steak with onion jam stands out.

Moon has been featured in the Michelin Guide since 2022, and now it can also take pride in its unique setting.
