19 Oct 2024–11 Jan 2026 Famous Sea Voyages: The Broadening Horizons of Europeans exhibition, Tallinn
The Seaplane Harbour, or Lennusadam in Estonian, which recently reopened after a major facelift, is proud to invite visitors to Tallinn to enjoy their new exhibition featuring famous sea voyages. Featuring Europe’s final acts of exploration on the sea, historical artefacts as well as an actual ship from that era. An adventure also awaits younger visitors!
10 Mar Heldeke! Stand-up comedy in English + pizza, Tallinn
Stand-up comedy has been a major new cultural tradition in Estonia for the past 15 years. Monday night features a comedy show in English with local and international comedians giving it their best shot. Heldeke! is a small, cosy venue, a perfect club for a night of laughs. Tickets €15 at the door.
11–17 Mar Tallinn Restaurant Week, Tallinn
Tallinn Restaurant Week features special meals and deals in at least 89 restaurants in and around Tallinn. From Michelin stars to up-class bars, reservations can be made for couples and groups, so you can have romantic dinners or delicious work lunches with your colleagues.
13–14, 16 Mar Joy: 40 Years on Stage, Jõhvi, Tartu, Tallinn
Retro Austrian pop group Joy is having three concerts in Estonia this week. For an extra adventure, their opening night is in Jõhvi’s legendary concert hall. Not only was Joy an important artist in the 1980s, their music was influential and remains popular today. An evening of nostalgia and pure fun is sure to be a hit!
14 Mar Windows95man, Tallinn
You haven’t seen Windows95man truly perform until you’ve seen him perform in English, and in clothing! The Finnish pop sensation from last year’s Eurovision is giving a concert in Paavli Kultuurivabrik. For those who are unfamiliar with his style of music, a hint is in his name: it’s like Windows 95, man!
14 Mar Jazzliit and Haapsalu Jazz Club Live: Maarja Nuut, Haapsalu
Maarja Nuut is a jazz performer who uses her unique fusion of Estonian folklore and Indian classical music, seamlessly blending vocals, violin, synthesisers, and other instruments, to captivate audiences. This concert is in Haapsalu, a small spa town on the western coast. As winter comes to an end, it’s the perfect place to watch the early sunset just before Maarja’s concert, in Haapsalu’s Culture Centre. Read more in Estonian here.
14–16 Mar Motoexotica, Tartu
Motorcycles, ATVs, campers and RVs, even jet skis, Motoexotica 2025 has it all! A three-day event packed with something for everyone who enjoys travel and fun, this annual event in Tartu’s Fair Centre (Tartu Näitused) is packed with exhibitions and demonstrations. Read more here!
15–16 Mar Tallinn Winner 2025 International Dog Show, Tallinn
Thousands of dogs, hundreds of breeds, and from nearly ten countries, all in one place: Tallinn’s Sportland Arena. Rare and popular breeds alike will show off their skills, and if you don’t speak Estonian, don’t worry: neither do many of the international judges, or the dogs. You can read more information here.
16 Mar EMTA Symphonic Orchestra, Tallinn
An evening of classical music performed by EMTA, the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, including music composed by Arvo Pärt, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, and Jean Sibelius. 19 Feb–14 Mar Veni Creator Spiritus, Tallinn
The Veni Creator Spiritus exhibition in Tallinn’s Kullo Children’s Gallery is for children, as well as adult children. It showcases children’s interpretations of the creation of Earth, and everything that is beautiful on our planet. Workshops for handicrafts are also available. A family-friendly exhibition.
