Neste Expands EV Charging Network with New Pääsküla Station

Neste has opened a new fast-charging station for electric vehicles in Pääsküla, on the outskirts of Tallinn. This facility marks Neste’s latest step toward establishing a robust charging infrastructure in the Baltic region, with a goal of opening nearly 50 modern charging stations along major routes from Finland to Lithuania by the end of 2024.

Equipped with high-efficiency Kempower chargers, the Pääsküla station offers charging speeds of up to 300 kW and provides space for four vehicles to charge simultaneously. The station features essential amenities, including lighting and shelter to protect users from rain and snow.

Risto Karppinen, Neste’s Vice President of Sustainability, Marketing, and Services, emphasised the importance of supporting the growing number of EVs with powerful, widely accessible charging stations. “We are committed to ensuring that users can access high-power charging stations in convenient locations, with the ability to charge multiple vehicles simultaneously,” Karppinen noted. “Customer feedback is essential to our service development, and we have focused on delivering not only high-speed charging but also user-friendly payment options, including credit card, Neste app, and Neste card.”

In line with Neste’s sustainability initiatives, all electricity at the charging stations is sourced from renewable energy. Additionally, Neste stations offer Neste MY renewable diesel, which reduces greenhouse gas emissions by an average of 90 per cent compared to conventional diesel over the fuel’s life cycle.

Located at Pärnu Mnt 453, the new Pääsküla fast-charging station is Neste’s third in Estonia, joining others in Pärnu and Tallinn.
